For my friend Barb, and Decorah Eagles

My friend Barb pointed me toward the Decorah Eagle website quite some time ago…
I made this card for her!!!

Majestic Eagle Card

Eagles are such majestic birds!
Gerry went fishing out on Lake John in Clermont last weekend and saw an eagle.

As I said earlier, I grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota! 20 miles to Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave National Park where the buffalo really do roam! The In Wilderness stamp set has a buffalo, as well as this eagle and the wolf. I’ve stamped the buffalo a couple of times, but I learned a new technique at Stampcation, and want to try it with the buffalo. I will post the results here on my blog if I like the results!

Until next time,
Huge hugs!

floral card inspired by the card on page 12 IBC

This was the last card we made for September stamp camp! I liked the card on page 12 of the Idea Book and Catalog, but I made some changes and used what I had to make this card!

Double embossing, punches, and I love the leaves folded in half and run through the crimper! Such a nice look on the green leaves!

I like this card, I hope you do too!

pretty floral card

Until next time,
Huge hugs,

More cards from Christmas In Apopka stamping event!

Here are a few more cards from Christmas In Apopka!

I love snowmen! There was a time we used to build a snowman every year!
We would always try to outdo the snowman we had built the year before.
It took two adults to build the snowmen we built!

I love this rustic looking card!

I love the wreath on this card made from snowflakes!
So creative!

Until next time,
Terri Tosh

What did you do for WCMD ~ World Card Making Day?

I spent WCMD ~ World Card Making Day…doing what else?
Stamping Up with so many wonderful friends, some new friends, some old friends, all cardmaking friends!

Barbara Benoit, Linda Goldhersz, and Marsha Perry do a wonderful job twice a year sponsoring this event for those of us that love to stamp! Thank you very much ladies! The cards are all beautiful! I love the variety! I heard nothing but compliments! As always everything was wonderful! The cards, the food, the comradery and friendships – old and new!- More door prizes and raffle items than I ‘ve seen before!

I just can’t say enough, thank you thank you thank you all for putting on such a wonderful event!!!

We made 9 different cards, 2 of each card for a total of 18 cards!

Here are a few of the cards we made:

I love the elegance of the dove card! I brought mine home, and ran the cherry cobbler layer through an embossing folder before assembling this card! There are actually three layers on this card that all went through an embossing folder with the Big Shot. I sprayed the dove card with some smooch mixed with rubbing alcohol and sprayed through a mister.

I love the baby 6mm jingle bells on the stocking card!

These are the two punch cards we did. Sooo cute!

Thanks for looking!
